Licensing Overview.

Suppliers of products (manufacturers, distributors, and retailers) may apply for a licence to use the Environmental Choice Label on products, which meet specific published specifications. An independent third party verifies all information and licence holders are monitored to ensure continued compliance.

There is growing support locally and internationally to purchase products which are better for the environment. However, selecting the best environmental product can be difficult and confusing due to the plethora of 'environmental claims' on a growing number of products. Environmental Choice is the assurance consumers are looking for.
