Susan Paterson, BPharm, MBA (London) Chair A member of a number of Boards including Goodman Property Trust, Abano Healthcare Ltd, Airways Corporation, and Les Mills NZ Ltd. A former director of Transpower NZ Ltd and Ports of Auckland. Susan has a strong interest in the environmental and education areas as a past Board Member of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (1996-2000) and St Cuthbert's College (1997-2007). |

Richard Tong, MSc (Hons). Deputy Chair Managing Director, Tong & Associates environmental consultancy (est. 1984). Post-graduate qualifications in public administration, local government and tertiary teaching. Served on the Applied Science Advisory Committee of Auckland University of Technology, 1996-2010. Associated with major developments in recycling (both NZ and overseas) and established award-winning Devonport Recycling Scheme. Richard has lectures widely on environmental topics and co-authored "Clean and Green? The New Zealand Environment". |

Barbara Glenie, BSc Barbara has edited publications including Landscape New Zealand, Planning Quarterly, Concrete Construction, and Growing Today. She has served on professional and public entities. A member of the Nursing Council of New Zealand's Competence Review Panel, a former Standards New Zealand Council Member, Complaints Review Tribunal member, President of the National Council of Women and chair of their regional ethics committee. |

Robert Vale, MA, DipArch, PhD Professorial Research Fellow, School of Architecture, Victoria University of Wellington. Previously senior scientist, Crown Research Institute Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research. His work centres on sustainability of the built environment. Robert has designed successful zero energy and autonomous buildings in UK and New Zealand and holds U.N. Global 500 Award for Environmental Achievement. Author of books including The Autonomous House and Time to Eat the Dog? |

Michael Field Michael Field is currently the sustainable development manager for BNZ and prior to that was sustainability manager for North Shore City Council. He was responsible for developing the sustainable procurement framework used for Rugby World Cup 2011 and while working with Interface Inc, one of the world's most applauded environmentally responsible organisations, was voted one of the company's global top ten sustainability champions. He has presented and published papers on sustainable manufacturing and construction; environmental aspects of energy, finance and technology; green public relations and supply chain management. |

Robin Taylor Robin is the General Manager of Environmental Choice New Zealand. He has recently been elected Chair of The Global Ecolabelling Network for a fourth successive term. Robin was educated in Scotland and moved to England to complete a degree in Economic Studies and further graduate study in marketing. He worked in various international marketing and sales positions, including appointments in the pharmaceutical industry. Following a move to New Zealand in the early eighties, he moved to manage major change in the energy sector. Subsequently Robin decided to turn his energies and experience towards environmental issues and joined Environmental Choice. Under his stewardship the programme has grow in stature, with licensees increasing tenfold. |
